Brief talk by SZE: The Art of Noticing

Have you ever noticed the beauty of your surroundings, how the ordinary and dull route that you walk every day can turn out to be the greatest landscape?

Through the eye of a camera, I captured a series of pictures to show you the unique perspectives I discovered during a typical Cambridge walk. 

It was a quiet afternoon, and in many ways a fairly typical walk, and there were not many people on the street. This fact highlighted the buildings themselves, which lit up under the warm and golden sunshine, and reminded me of how we are always interacting with these structures, and of the tasks and challenges we face while protected by their roofs, both in our neighborhood and at school. 

Indeed, walking on the same road may seem boring, but don’t miss the peaceful tranquility that is offered by the simple things. Why not take a few photos on your phone next time you do your usual walk, and see what beauty you can spot?
